This 37-story rental apartment building at 150 East 34th Street between Lexington and Third avenues in Murray Hill was converted in 2017 from the Affinia Dumont Hotel that had been erected in 1987.

It is owned by the Lefrak Organization.

Bauer Dermel was the architect for the conversion.

The brown-brick, mid-block tower is known now as the Murray Hill Marquis.

It has 260 apartments.

Bottom Line

This brown-brick tower has a rusticated two-story base and large entrance marquee and a nice Murray Hill location with excellent public transportation.

Description

The brown-brick tower has no setbacks, a rusticated 2-story base, discrete air-conditioners and a large entrance marquee.  Its façade has light-red brick horizontal banding.

It is setback in a plaza.

Amenities

The building has a fitness center with a yoga studio, a residents’ club and game room, a 24-hour attended lobby, a co-working space, and a laundry.  It allows pets.

Apartments

Residence 5 is a studio unit with a 21-foot-wide living room with a kitchen with a breakfast bar.

Residence 7 is a studio unit with a 16-foot-long living room with an entry foyer and an open kitchen.

Residence 4 is a studio unit with an 18-foot-wide living room and a pass-through kitchen.
