Condop located in Murray Hill, at The Southeast corner of Second Avenue

Comment About the Building

One of the most luxurious buildings in Murray Hill w a full time doorman, lounge, out door pool, spa, gym, garage and a killer roof deck. The building has a very warm welcoming feeling... many keep coming back to it. Saying you live in Kips Bay or Murray Hill may not turn your friends green with envy (unless you occupy one of the beautiful Sniffen Court carriage houses at 150-158 East 36th Street), but rest assured, that?s all about to change. Considered a nondescript neighborhood just a few years ago, the blocks east of Fifth Avenue between 23rd and 42nd Streets have become the playground for a stylish bunch of young professionals. Some might say it?s the fantastic ethnic restaurants along Lexington and Third Avenues (now dubbed Curry Hill) that has drawn new residents to the area, but educated guessers will tell you that the neighborhood?s tantalizing mix of living options?graceful towers, well-maintained apartment buildings, condos, co-ops, brownstones?and its proximity to Midtown?s business district and Downtown?s nightlife, make the area a smart locale for any city dweller. Business owners are catching on, too. In the last few years, the neighborhood has gotten its own boutique hotel (the Marcel), not to mention a swanky lounge to go with it (Spread). Beyond its status as a budding real estate destination (towers at Manhattan Place, the Horizon and the Corinthian are all within a stone?s throw of each other), there are also a few landmarks to the neighborhood?s credit. The Morgan Library, located at Madison Avenue and East 36th Street, serves as architectural eye candy for incoming residents, as does the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland, a romantic C.P.H. Gilbert-designed Beaux Arts mansion originally built for entrepreneur Joseph Raphael De Lemar. With Grand Central Station, the New York Public Library and the Queens-Midtown Tunnel just on the outskirts of town, it?s easy to see the appeal of this understated community
