Carter's Review

This attractive, red-brick 6-story residential condominium conversion of a commercial building at 133 Mulberry Street between Grand and Hester streets in Little Italy was completed in 2014 by Barberry Rose Management.

Robert Krone was the architect for the 18-unit project.

Bottom Line

With high ceilings and a roof deck, this Little Italy residential condominium offers nice apartment layouts, some with skylights, and convenience to many Italian restaurants.

Description

The red-brick, mid-block building has arched windows on its top floor and an oculus window on its tiered roofline.

The building has two sets of fire-escapes and a handsome stone bandcourse above its first floor.

Amenities

The building has a part-time doorman, a virtual doorman, a roof deck with cabanas, a bicycle room and storage.

Apartments

Apartments have 11-foot-ceilings, wide-plank oak floors, stackable washers and dryers, high ceilings and Bosch and Wolf kitchen appliances and Caesarstone countertops and backsplashes. Apartments on the top floor have skylights.

Penthouse 6CD is a four-bedroom unit with a 30-foot-long living room with a 20-foot-long open kitchen with an island.

Penthouse 6B is a two-bedroom unit with a 24-foot-long living room with a 15-foot-long pass-through kitchen.

Apartment 5C is a two-bedroom unit with 11-foot-ceilings and 1,384 square feet.

Apartment 3B is a two-bedroom unit with 1,351 square feet.
