Carter's Review

This very handsome, 8-story residential building at 199 Mott Street in NoLiTa was erected by Alfa Development, which is headed by Michael Namer, whose other projects include Village Green at 211 East 11th Street and Village Green West at 245 West 14th Street.

The building was completed in 2012 and has 11 condominium apartments.

Kutnicki Bernstein was the architect.

Bottom Line

This very classy, mid-rise building in NoLiTa is very convenient to public transportation, and many restaurants and shops: a brand new “pre-war” boutique that is also a certified LEED Gold building.

The building has an entry vestibule with bronze framed doors leading to a lobby with globular chandeliers and handing light sconces and a high-back settee.
