Carter's Review
This attractive, Georgian-style, redbrick, 7-story building was erected in 1931 and converted to a condominium in 1989. It has 80 apartments. Located one block north of Canal Street, one block east of Mott Street and one block west of the Bowery, this building is convenient to Chinatown, Little Italy and SoHo and is one of the handsomest residential buildings in this bustling area. Needless to say, it is convenient to many restaurants, food stores, boutiques and art galleries, and the many diamond and lighting stores along the Bowery that becomes Third Avenue a few blocks to the north. Rich in history and landmarks, this neighborhood is one of the most fascinating in the city. New York University and Cooper Union are not far away to the north.
