The Surrey Residences is a collection of 14 private homes on the top six floors of the original Surrey Hotel, which is set to reopen as The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel, the Corinthia Group's first property in the United States. All units will feature interiors by Martin Brudnizki Studio, and opening is estimated for summer 2024.
The hotel's historic façade is being restored to its former glory, and private members' club Casa Tua is set to replace Cafe Boulud as the building's restaurant. A luxurious amenity package is set to include a jewel-box spa with sauna and steam room, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center. Its address at 20 East 76th Street puts it close to Central Park, Madison Avenue designer flagship stores, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Ukrainian Institute of America.
The Surrey Hotel on the Upper East Side has reopened as a hybrid property, combining a 100-room hotel with 14 luxury condos. British firm Reuben Brothers spearheaded the transformation, and after six months of marketing, 13 of the condos are under contract, with prices ranging from $9 million to $28 million.
The Surrey, a reimagined Upper East Side landmark, has unveiled its $50 million duplex penthouse—the last of its 14 private residences. The expansive 5,200-square-foot home features three bedrooms, opulent finishes like white oak flooring and Calacatta gold marble, and over 2,300 square feet of outdoor space across a private roof deck and three terraces. With 13 residences already sold and building completion set for early next year, residents will enjoy luxury amenities, a spa, a fitness center, and exclusive access to the Casa Tua dining and social club.
