Introducing Residence 4D, a 1,993-square foot, three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom home with Northwest exposures. Upon entry, high ceilings and original details have been preserved to sensitively capture the spirit of 1920s architecture and pre-war minimalism.
The entry gallery features a large walk-in closet and a custom Frank Stella-inspired pattern using the hand-laid reclaimed heart pinewood flooring from The Hudson Company that is featured throughout the home.
Just off the entry gallery, find the 1920’s inspired powder room with wainscoting, custom lighting by Workstead, a beveled edged mirror, and a custom washstand with Calacatta Nero marble top, chrome legs and Waterworks fixtures in chrome.
Exquisite features take center-stage in the kitchen with custom-designed cream lacquer cabinetry by Workstead, honed Estremoz marble countertops and backsplash, and a fully integrated appliance package by Wolf and Sub-Zero. A statement Calacatta Vagli marble island with a cast iron white undermount sink serves as a base for the sculptural Brancusi-like Dornbracht chrome faucet. The kitchen and living area are separated by an open partition with curved arch details.
Through the arch, the living and dining areas are filled with pre-war inspired features including custom-designed trim, and wall moldings.
At the entrances to the two secondary bedrooms, the secondary bathroom finished with a Calacatta Nero marble top vanity, Waterworks fixtures in chrome, honed gray limestone mosaic floors and a tub surrounded by white ceramic tile walls.
The master bedroom wing is kept serene with custom oversized windows and wall moldings. Found through a passage surrounded by enclosed storage spaces including a walk-in closet, the graciously proportioned master bathroom features natural Novelda Cream limestone slab walls and flooring, a freestanding bathtub and classic Waterworks fixtures in chrome. The Bianco Dolomite marble-clad shower is entered through a pyramid-glass and powder-coated steel door, while a custom vanity Calacatta Nero carved marble countertops, Duravit sinks and integrated medicine cabinets with gently curving corners create an elegant effect.
