Carter's Review
This very distinguished, Italian Renaissance palazzo-style, pre-war, rental apartment building was renovated in 1989.
The 9-story building has 135 apartments, high ceilings, a sundeck, a doorman and a bicycle room.
The building has a two-story rusticated limestone base with an impressive entrance, and handsome decorative details and some balconies. The top floor has arched windows.
Very close to Riverside Drive, this building is in one of the city's most architecturally attractive neighborhoods and is not far from the 96th Street subway station and cross-town bus service on Broadway.
This building looks as good as many of the best on the city's "best" avenues and it has the added benefit of being on a quiet sidestreet very close to a major park.
