Carter's Review
This 7-story apartment building at 320 West 83rd Street was erected in 1828 and has 50 co-operative apartments. It is adjacent to a similar, but slightly different building at 324 West 83rd Street.
Both buildings have red-brick façades with two-story, rusticated limestone bases and fire-escapes. They are close to Riverside Park.
Part of the façade of this building, which is cat-friendly, has a video intercom system, windowed kitchens and baths, a live-in superintendent and laundry and storage facilities, is slightly curved.
It permits window air-conditioners and has no roof deck, no garage and no sidewalk landscaping.
It was converted in 1989.
