Carter's Review
This handsome, 16-story, cooperative apartment building was erected in 1925 and has only two apartments per floor.
The brown-brick building has a canopied entrance and a two-story striated limestone base with attractive first-floor, wrought-iron window grills. It has some decorative balconies and protruding air-conditioners and no sidewalk landscaping, no health club and no garage. It has a doorman.
One of the city's best private schools, Trinity School, is a few blocks to the east on 91st Street and there are many restaurants and stores nearby on Broadway. This lively neighborhood is one of the city's finest architecturally. There is good bus service on Riverside Drive and Broadway and the nearest cross-town bus service and subway station is nearby at 86th Street and Broadway.
