Carter's Review
This attractive, beige-brick apartment building was erected in 1927 and converted to a cooperative in 1970.
The 17-story building has 94 apartments.
The building has a side-street entrance with handsome wrought-iron decorative doors and a doorman. Its façades are enlivened by decorative window sills and arched elements over pairs of windows on the top floor. The building permits protruding air-conditioners and has no landscaping.
It is in a very attractive stretch of West End Avenue and is only a block to the east from Riverside Park and a block to the west from convenient neighborhood shopping along Broadway. Crosstown bus service and a subway station are at 96th Street and Broadway.
