Carter's Review

This handsome, 16-story, mid-block apartment building at 732 West End Avenue between 95th and 96th streets has only 11 apartments and was erected in 2014.

It was erected by Sachman Enterprises.  The architect was William Nicholas Boudouva Associates.

Bottom Line

A very attractive mid-block condominium with large units including a penthouse duplex and a maisonette triplex that is very close to Riverside Park and excellent public transportation.

Description

The building has a metal and glass entrance marquee flanked by hanging light sconces and a very handsome, two-story, rusticated and horizontally ribbed stone façade.  The lobby has a checkerboard floor patter and an arched hall way.

Amenities

The building has an attended lobby, a roof deck, a fitness center and keyed elevator access.

Apartments

Apartments have gas fireplaces, vaulted foyers and 5-inch-wide oak flooring.

Kitchens have Bertazzoni ranges, Liebherr refrigerators, Marvel under-counter wine refrigerators and Blomberg dishwashers.

Apartments have full-size washers and dryers in utility closets with venting

The building has a triplex garden unit with 2,765 square feet of interior space and 660 square feet of outdoor space.  The entry level has a 29-foot-wide living and dining area with an open kitchen and a staircase to a 29-foot-wide rear garden.  The lower level has a 17-foot-wide study and a 10-foot-wide storage area.  The top level has three bedrooms.

The penthouse duplex has 3,190 square feet of interior space and 740 square feet of exterior space with four bedrooms and three terraces.
