Carter's Review
This 6-story, midblock building was erected in 1927 and converted to a cooperative in 1985.
It has 35 apartments.
The building has a canopied entrance and consistent fenestration. It has two banks of fire escapes facing on the avenue.
The building does not have a doorman, a concierge and sidewalk landscaping, but permits protruding air-conditioners.
While 96th Street is less than distinguished between Broadway and Riverside Drive, West End Avenue is very attractive for several blocks above it as well as for much of the high 80's and low 90's.
One block from Riverside Park, this building is very convenient to public transportation and neighborhood shopping as 96th Street and Broadway is a major Upper West Side intersection. There is considerable traffic nearby at the entrance to the Henry Hudson Drive.
