This very handsome, 6-story building at 314 West 94th Street between West End Avenue and Riverside Drive was erected in 1920 and was converted in 1985 to 32 condominium apartments.
The building, which is known as The Vancouver, is a block away from an express subway station and there is excellent bus transportation.
Bottom Line
A very attractive, mid-rise, mid-block pre-war condominium with a portico, quoins, and rusticated piers and a fire-escape convenient to numerous restaurants and good public transportation.
Description
The red-brick building has a two-story, rusticated base with a canopied, three-step-up entrance with a nice colonnaded portico surround.
The building also has quoins at ends sides and rusticated piers in its center where there is also a fire-escape.
The building has a nice cornice.
