This very striking and attractive, 7-story mixed-use development at 1809 Emmons Avenue in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, is known as The Vue and is notable for its large, chevron-framed two-story base and its bold corner cutouts and cornice.

It was developed by Rybak Development and was completed in 2017 and designed by Igor Zaslavskiy of Zproekt.

It has 58 condominium apartments, about 3,000 square feet of commercial space and about 9,000 square feet of public plaza space.

It is also known at 2804 East 19th Street, 3390 Shore Parkway and 1781-1807 Sheepshead Bay Road.

Bottom Line

Brash and bold, this impressive, angled, mid-rise, mixed-use, waterfront project in Sheepshead Bay is LEED certified and has a rooftop pool and a doorman.

Description

This building has dramatic flair.

It has a low-rise wing with large chevron support columns on its exterior and the tower is slightly angled in plan as well and also has large cut-outs with rounded columns at some corners for balconies and very prominent, red, projecting framing for some façade sections.

Apartment 4C is a three-bedroom unit at the corner of Leif Ericson Drive and East 19th Street and has a pass-through kitchen and a balcony and one of its bedrooms is angled.

Apartment 3B is a two-bedroom unit at the corner of Leif Ericson Drive and Sheepshead Bay and has an open, pass-through kitchen and a large, 7-sided balcony.
