Carter's Review

This handsome, red-brick, 5-story building at 22 Mercer Street in SoHo was erected in 1860 and has 16 condominium apartments. 

It was converted to luxury loft condominiums by Property Markets Group.  

TRS Studio Architecture PLLC, of which Caterina Roiatti is a principal, was the architect for the conversion.

Bottom Line

A charming, luxury, mid-block, low-rise building on a cobblestone street in SoHo that has a full-time doorman.

Description

The building has a minimalist and modern 100-foot-long lobby with some atriums. 

The building has ground floor retail space with a dark metal façade and the top floors are red brick.  The second floor windows are arched and the building has a nice cornice. 

The top two floors, which are setback are very modern.

The building has a full-time doorman, private storage and a roof deck.

Penthouse C is a three-bedroom unit with a 55-foot-side entry foyer that leads past an open kitchen with an island to a 42-foot-long living/dining room with a fireplace on the lowest level with a bedroom and a 21-foot-wide terrace on the middle level and a 36-foot-long terrace on the top level. 

Penthouse D is a three-bedroom unit with a 53-foot-long entry foyer that leads past an open kitchen with an island to a 42-foot-long living room with a fireplace on the lower level and a master bedroom and a 21-foot-wide terrace on the middle level and a 36-foot-long terrace on the top level.
