This 6-story, co-operative apartment building at 474 Greenwich Street just south of Canal Street in TriBeCa has 12 apartments and was built circa 1900.

The building is close to the Hudson River and the Holland Tunnel.

Bottom Line

Located on a cobblestone Street in TribeCa near the Holland Tunnel. This building has few apartments and a very handsome wood-paneled base.

Description

The brick building has a very handsome wood-paneled base and fire-escapes at both ends of its main façade.

The windows on the top floor are arched.

The building has a roof deck, high ceilings, oak and slate floors, wood beams, video security and key-locked elevator access.

Apartments

Apartment 6W is a two-bedroom unit with a 28-foot-long entry hall that leads to a 15-foot-square entry foyer and a 27-foot-long living/dining room with an open kitchen and a stair to a 28-foot-long roof deck.  The apartment has a wood-burning fireplace and 13-foot-high ceilings.

Apartment 2N is a one-bedroom unit with a 30-foot-wide living room that opens onto a 22-foot-wide dining room adjacent to an 18-foot-long kitchen with an island that leads to a 25-foot master bedroom suite with a 10-foot-long study.

Apartment 5N is a studio unit with a 33-foot-long living/dining room with a 10-foot-long bedroom alcove and a 14-foot-long kitchen.  It has 11-foot-6-inch high ceilings and chestnut timber columns.

Apartment 4S has a very large living room that is next to a 26-foot-long dining room/open kitchen.
