Carter’s Review

"Leonard Street is not very long but as evidence of the rejuvenated interest in TriBeCa real estate at the start of the millennium three older properties, including this one, were being converted to luxury loft condominiums separately at the same time. The other two were located at 18 and 27 Leonard Street.

The building has Cyber Doorman, an interactive surveillance system, that permits security personnel to control business access from a remote location, in this case at Best Monitoring, a security company in Hunts Point, The Bronx. Deliveries for residents not at home are left in a closet and Best Monitoring e-mails the resident that it has arrived. The Cyber Doorman costs about $20,000 to install and $6,000 to $12,000 a year for monitoring and maintenance."
