Carter’s Review

"In addition to being one of the world's most acclaimed actors, Robert De Niro is TriBeCa's most famous resident as the host of a film festival, a principle in famous restaurants in the neighborhood - TriBeCa Grill and Nobu, founded in 1990 and 1995, respectively - and a real estate developer.

For a while, he operated the Hudson Lounge at this location but in 2004 closed it to make way for a new condominium apartment project known as 116 Hudson. The development includes both a mixed-use structure at that address that dates to 1887 and a new, 7-story structure that was constructed on an adjacent vacant lot."
