Description

This is the loft dweller’s dream. Approximately 3,628 Square feet of living space with 12.5 foot high ceilings. As you enter the palatial living room you are immediately drawn to the eight grand oak framed windows which draw in dramatic southern light and direct views of the Freedom Tower.

The entire apartment is awash in light. The are 4 large bedrooms with en-suite baths and a guest powder room.

European craftsmanship abounds in the details throughout the entire home, herringbone inlay floors, a carved oak wainscoted living room , a dining area large enough to have at least 20 of your closest friends over for a sit down meal. A thoroughly over-sized wood burning fireplace encased in an imported Italian masterworks hand carved mantle creates the feeling of relaxing by the fire in your Castle in the sky.

The enormous kitchen is paneled in beautiful knotty pine planks. To say that this windowed eat in kitchen is oversized is the ultimate understatement.

There is a large dining area and a windowed banquet with additional seating for 6.

The Crown Jewel of TriBeCa: Borden House, a/k/a 110 Hudson Street is a Beaux Arts style masterpiece. This gloriously significant structure was originally built for the Borden Milk Company in 1904. The building boasts a stone balustrade and imposing portico.

It was designed by George Howard Chamberlain and converted to a condominium in 1988. According to the designation report of the TriBeCa Historic District “The base, sheathed in deeply coursed granite, projects at the end bays; it displays round-arched first-story openings with cast-iron bulkheads and grilles beneath wood-frame show windows….An entablature with carved rosettes surmounts the base. The midsection of the facade contains projecting white brick end bays which frame red brick central bays at stories three through seven and oriels flanked by an Ionic colonnade at stories eight and nine.”

This boutique condo loft building is convenient to all that central TriBeCa has to offer, night life, dining, schools, and close to subways.

It has been home to many notable entertainers who appreciate the privacy and convenience or TriBeCa loft living. Come and take a tour of this unique and welcoming home.

Special assessment of approx. $6,500 per month for two years.
