Carter's Review

This 6-story, red-brick, mid-block building at 130 Jane Street between Washington and West streets in the West Village was erected as a paper warehouse in 1898 and converted to a co-operative in 1976.  It has 45 cooperative apartments. 

The building is on a tree-lined and cobblestone street very close to the Hudson River Park and not far from the High Line and the Whitney Museum of American Art.

A rather plain, red-brick, mid-rise, mid-block building on a tree-lined and cobblestone street very close to the Hudson River Park in the West Village.

Description

The red-brick building is distinguished by metal bandcourse above its ground level for several window bays and slightly protruding piers with slight incisions culminating in a plain cornice. 

The building has two-paned windows.

The building has some fireplaces, a canopied entrance, a part-time doorman, a roof deck, a live-in superintendent, a fitness center, a bicycle room, some balconies, a garden and an elevator.
