This 6-story apartment building at 622 Greenwich Street between Leroy and Morton streets in the West Village was built in 1881 and was converted to a co-operative. It is known as The Stafford and has 50 units.
It is two blocks from the West Side Highway and one block south of the St. Luke’s Chapel and school complex just south of Christopher Street.

An attractive, 6-story building in the Far West Village with fireplaces, fire balconies and quite large apartments.
Description
The plain red-brick façade has some vertical indentations and some curved fire balconies make it a more textural presence in this very desirable section of the Far West Village.
