Carter's Review

This 6-story residential condominium at 1 Powers Street in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn was designed by Kutnicki Bernstein Architects for Essex Market Development LLC of which Howard Eisenberg is a principal.

The building has 31 apartments, a gym, a roof deck, and a garage.

As part of its sales promotion in 2010, it offered buyers a bonus of a free Vespa LX 50, or 12 $200 Fresh Direct cards, or $2,500 toward closing costs, or a year of free common charges, or a $2,500 Great Green Cleaning maid and cleaning services gift voucher, or a $2,500 Ritz-Carlton Resorts and Hotels gift card, or an apartment wide i-Pod docking station and sound system.

Its promotion material said that "the artful, geometric exterior boldly contrasts colors of sky-gray and ebony, while interesting setbacks and thoughtfully positioned windows create volume and depth.

Kitchens have LG refrigerators, white lacquer cabinetry, Bosch dishwashers and rangers and concrete CaesarStone countertops. The penthouse kitchens have SubZero refrigerators, Viking ranges and cooktops.

Bathroom have polished Mayorca marble wainscot on walls, honed Bottinico Fiorito marble floors, polished Bottinco Fiorito marble countertops, sliced beech veneer vanity, Kohler fixtures, and Zuma bathtubs. Master bathrooms feature carbonized quarter sawn bamboo vanities, polished inca stone countertops, running bond porcelain wainscot on walls, and azul argento stone floors.
