Carter's Review

This imposing, 6-story, mixed-use, condominium building at 147 Hope Street in Williamsburg was erected in 2018 by Blue Zees Real Estate headed by James Stockwell and designed by Alexander Campagno. 

It has 38 apartments. 

The building, which is also known as 432 Keap Street, is near the Lorimer Street subway station and east of the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. 

It has 1,600-square feet of ground-floor retail space. 

Bottom Line

This low-rise Williamsburg condominium development with many setbacks and balconies is distinguished by two 2-story-high openings to its landscaped courtyard that are supported by angled braces.

Description

The building has numerous setbacks and glass-railed balconies and is distinguished by two 2-story high openings supported by large angled columns, one of which openings is large and curved. 

A Corcoran ad for an apartment stated that "with its bicycle motif informing the design concept, spoke-like beams and arches are elements carried throughout the building, intersecting the lobby, meandering in the landscaped courtyard and crossing onto terraces."

Amenities

The building has a roof deck, a bicycle room, a garage with 19 spaces, a virtual doorman, an exercise room, a children's playroom and a pet-washing station.

Penthouse 6B is three-bedroom unit with a 20-foot-long  living room with an 18-foot-wide open kitchen and a 22-foot-wide terrace with a spiral staircase to a 23-foot-wide semi-circular terrace. 

Penthouse D is a three-bedroom unit with a 25-foot-long living/dining room with a 12-foot-wide dining room, a 12-foot-long open kitchen with a breakfast bar and a 25-foot-long terrace. 

Penthouse C is a three-bedroom unit with a 19-foot-long living room with a 36-foot-long terrace and an 14-foot-long open kitchen. 

Townhouse 1B is a triplex unit with a 24-foot-wide living room with an open, 12-foot-long kitchen with an island on the first floor and two 15-foot-wide terraces, two bedrooms on the second floor and a 24-foot-wide recreation room in the cellar. 

Penthouse 5B is a two-bedroom unit with a 21-foot-long living room with a 23-foot-wide curved terrace and an 11-foot-long open kitchen with an island. 

Apartment 3J is a two-bedroom unit with a 18-foot-long living room with a 15-foot-wide balcony and an open, 11-foot-long kitchen. 

Apartment 3A is a one-bedroom unit with a small entry foyer that leads to a 12-foot-long dining room adjacent to a open, 8-foot-wide kitchen with an island and a 16-foot-long living room with a 12-foot-wide balcony.
