The architect team at ODA New York animated the glass-clad high-rises through robust, shifting cubist geometries that create a lively presence on Williamsburg skyline while providing unique floor layouts extra corner units and river-facing terraces. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the Manhattan skyline, which makes a magnificent backdrop for the annual Fourth of July fireworks show, whether Macy’s decides to launch from the Brooklyn Bridge or the Queens waterfront on any given year. A 383-foot public waterfront promenade connects to adjacent park space and hosts an East River Ferry landing, which offers a rapid, breezy access to Downtown (both Brooklyn and Manhattan), Midtown, and Long Island City. Nearby J, M and Z subway lines and abundant bike lanes offer additional commute options.

 

Smokey oak natural wood floors spread across the tall-ceiled, open-layout apartments. Kitchens offer polished concrete Caesarstone countertops, custom Italian Nero kitchen cabinetry, polished chrome fixtures by Kohler, Bertazzoni gas ranges, and appliances by Bosch. Bathrooms feature large format concrete floor tile, porcelain linear white matte wall tile, and polished chrome fixtures, and Italian cabinetry with built-in illumination.

 

The building’s amenity package includes services such as concierge-serviced package delivery, dry cleaning, laundry, apartment cleaning, dog walkers, and on-site “lifestyle directors.” Artist Bill Barrett’s “Rendezevous II” abstract bronze sculpture greets residents in the lobby, which adjoins a coffee bar and co-working zone. Stone walkways weave through an adjacent “tranquility garden” toward a library and quiet lounge. Livelier entertainment may be found in gaming and media lounges, dining and event spaces, and resident bar. The wellness center combines 12,000 square feet of fitness facilities with a spa, workout studios, rooftop pool, and an outdoor yoga and “techno gym.” A spacious shared deck offers additional outdoor space.

"One of the city's great craggy and chunky residential complexes, this three-tower development at 420 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, was erected by the Spitzer Enterprises in 2018 and contains 857 rental apartments, 80 percent of which are corner units.  A fifth of the units are "affordable." 

The development has been designed by ODA New York, which is headed by Eran Chen.  "
