Carter's Review

This attractive, 6-story apartment building at 94 North 3rd Street in Williamsburg between Wythe Avenue and Berry Street was erected in 2017 by The Hudson Companies and designed by Marvel Architects.

The building is known as House No. 94 and as 125 Metropolitan Avenue.

The through-block development has 75 rental apartments and 15,000-square feet of retail space on its ground floor.

Twenty percent of its apartments are "affordable" and all tenants have access to the landscaped courtyard and roof deck.

It is not far from the Bedford Avenue station of the L subway line.

Bottom Line

An attractive grey-suit rental apartment building at a convenient location in Williamsburg with handsome dark steel framing for its ground floor retail spaces and at the rear of its upper stories's setbacks.

Description

The design consists of two towers - one fronting North 3rd Street and the other Metropolitan Avenue - and the buildings are connected by a lobby and landscaped courtyard.

The design of the building reflect the neighborhood's industrial past by using grey TAKTL cement-panels and black steel framing on the retail ground floor and on the top two- story setbacks.

The building has a very attractive and large, landscaped courtyard with two levels and adjoining residents' lounge with pool table.

It also has a large, double-height lobby.

Amenities

The building has concierge service, a fitness center, tenant lounges, roof deck with pergolas, grills, dining tables and farming plots, a large and nicely landscaped courtyard with two levels, a bicycle room and cold food storage.

Select apartments have private terraces.
