The Lucent is a six-story, mid-block condominium project with 28 units at 170 North 11th Street between Bedford Avenue and Driggs Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
It built in 2013 by The Kiska Group of Brooklyn, of which Sekab Akyuz is a principal.
Gene Kaufman was the architect.
Bottom Line
This quite striking building is one block from the large and popular McCarren Park.
Description
The wings of the building are faced with brown brick and are setback considerably while the main façade is very bold with stone and glass continuous balconies.
The ground floor, which has no sidewalk landscaping, is indented a few feet to add to the building’s dimensionality.
