Carter’s Review

"This 21-story apartment house was one of the largest in the Gracie Mansion/Carl Schurz Park area when it was built in 1959. The top four floors of the building are setback with terraces and angled walls, which make the building considerably more attractive than many similar buildings of its type and era. The 193-unit building was converted to a cooperative in 1983. Located on a quiet street but close to a major cross-town street and bus transportation, the building is also convenient to Carl Schurz Park and many of the city's finest private schools."
