Carter's Review
This beige-brick apartment building was erected in 1961 and converted to a cooperative in 1969.
The 21 -story building has 136 apartments.
The building has an angled stainless steel marquee over its canopied entrance, which has a polished red granite surround. The mid-block building has discrete air conditioners, consistent fenestration and sidewalk landscaping.
The building is close to the charming mid-block mini-street lined on its east side with townhouses and known as Henderson Place and it is half a block from Carl Schurz Park.
There are some excellent private schools nearby and there is excellent crosstown bus service, but the express subway station at Lexington Avenue is quite far away.
