Carter's Review

This handsome, 24-story, mid-block apartment building was erected in 1985. It is a condominium and has 62 apartments.

The building has a very impressive entrance with a large marquee with concrete supports and a slightly sculpted first-floor façade treatment. The building has a very nice warm, light orange brick façade and is set back in a plaza with nice sidewalk landscaping.

The building, has a one-step-down entrance with revolving doors, a large lobby, many balconies with red-brick sides and many bay windows. It has a distinctive, angled roofline from the south. The building has a concierge, basement storage and a roof deck.

There are many nice restaurants and neighborhood stores on Third Avenue in this area and good cross-town bus service on 79th Street, but there are no nearby parks. Subways are a few blocks away at 77th and 86th Streets on Lexington Avenue.
