Carter's Review
This handsome, 16-story building was erected in 1958 and has 98 cooperative apartments.
The beige-brick building has a one-story polished beige granite entrance surround, a doorman, sidewalk landscaping, a two-step-down lobby, many bay windows, discrete air-conditioners, some terraces with stainless-steel railings and is on a pleasant and quiet street. It has no balconies, no health club and no roof deck.
This is a very good Upper East Side location that is convenient to excellent local shopping, numerous religious institutions and schools. There is good cross-town bus service on 79th Street and Lenox Hill Hospital is nearby at 77th Street on the avenue where there is also a local subway station.
