Carter's Review
This very handsome 19-story residential condominium building at 123 Third Avenue on the southeast corner at 14th Street was completed in 2010.
It has 47 apartments.
Orange Management Inc., of which Andrew Bradfield is a principal, and the F & T Group developed the project.
Perkins Eastman served as the architect.
Bottom Line
A stunning upgrade to the 14th Street and southern Third Avenue corridors, this very handsome building has many corner windows and excellent fenestration patterns.
Description
It has discrete air-conditioners and some corner windows and some terraces, as well as about 3,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
Its gray face and blue-tinted windows are in context with its neighbor to the south, 111 Third Avenue, and across the avenue, One Ten 3rd at 110 Third Avenue.
It is also across the avenue and half a block to the west of the impressive and ornate Con Edison building.
The building is setback above the 14th floor and the upper floors have small balconies that face west.
