Carter’s Review

"This 12-story glass-and-steel condominium apartment building at 5-49 Borden Avenue near Vernon Boulevard in the Hunters Point section of Long Island City, Queens, is known as One Hunters Point.

It was developed by Simone Development Companies, of which Joseph Simone is President, and designed by Mitchell Newman of the Newman Design Group, the same team that erected the very similar but somewhat smaller building known as Hunter’s View, three blocks away on 49th Street. "
