As New York City only entered Phase 4 of the reopening process a few days ago, it is a little soon to predict what the post-pandemic future holds, especially in the realm of real estate. However, industry experts predict that home offices and outdoor space will be among the most highly coveted listing features going forward. Early in the lockdown, an expert told Forbes that multi-family developers are reconsidering layouts of planned projects to accommodate tenants working from home. More recently, a Zillow study found that dedicated office space topped the wish lists of respondents who'd been forced to work from home, followed closely by more outdoor space.
