NYC townhouses
10 East 64th Street
Months after Ivana Trump’s death, her estate has listed the Upper East Side townhouse she bought in 1992, the year her divorce from "the Donald" was finalized, for $2.5 million; it is now on the market for over 10 times that amount. In her memoir, she wrote about how significant work was required to turn the former dentist’s office into a residence. Similar work might be necessary to bring the home’s decor into the present; when The Wall Street Journal announced the sale, it remarked that stepping inside the house was like stepping back in time to the 1980s.

From the Listing:
Grand and lavish, this limestone townhouse, on a highly coveted block known for its magnificent residences, is truly unparalleled. Built in 1879, this Adamesque home stands apart for its crisp, columned facade and mansard roof, as well as its one-of-a-kind gold and black grilled doors. Designed for luxurious living and the highest caliber entertaining, the six story residence sprawls over 8,725 square feet and features an additional 700 square feet of outdoor space.

A storied townhouse that has played host to luminaries from all industries, this once-in-a-lifetime offering awaits the most discerning buyer. Entering the home through stately double doors, you are greeted by a regal, formal gallery. Under a large, Italian crystal chandelier and surrounded by gilded custom-paneling, the jaw-dropping entry sets the tone for this majestic townhouse. A powder room clad in silk damask wallpaper sits next to the gated elevator that services the entire home. A sweeping, curved staircase ushers you up to the resplendent second floor, housing an entertaining level adorned with four chandeliers and ceiling heights of more than 10.5 feet.

In June 2022, former Disney president Michael Ovitz bought a condo in The Greenwich Lane from Jon Bon Jovi in an all-cash deal. From the Listing:
Residence 14A, spanning nearly 4,000 square feet with four-bedrooms and three-and-one-half bathrooms, is an opportunity not to be missed. This stunning home is accessed through a private elevator. The gracious entrance gallery flows directly to the enormous, light-flooded great room. The exterior walls in every room are floor-to-ceiling glass. Along the south wall of the great room, three sets of glass doors open onto Juliette balconies, inviting fresh air to fill the space. Dark stained oak hardwood flooring is found throughout. The eat-in kitchen features top of the line Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Miele appliances with custom walnut cabinetry.
