From September 27 to October 3, 2023, a total of 372 sales listings throughout New York City experienced price reductions. Among them was the Tribeca home of Today show anchor Savannah Guthrie. When it was listed for $7.1 million in January 2023, she raved about its concrete ceiling and thoughtful layout to The Wall Street Journal. The family has reportedly moved out, but the apartment has lingered on the market to a point where its price was reduced to $6,500,000. At this rate, Ms. Guthrie and her family will take a loss on the apartment, having purchased it for $7.114 million in June 2017 (per public records).
