As of October 21, 2020, CityRealty listings show 13,062 condos, co-ops, condops, and townhouses for sale throughout New York City. Manhattan's median condo prices dipped a little further to $2,000,920, or $1,673 per square foot. The co-op median ticked up slightly to $905,643.
Over the past seven days, 586 listings all over New York experienced price reductions. These included a penthouse at the top of Time Warner Center owned by Related CEO Stephen Ross. In preparation for a move to 35 Hudson Yards, Mr. Ross and his wife listed their apartment for $75 million in July 2019. Some of the couple's art collection could be included in the sale if the buyer requested it, and the penthouse features design by Tony Ingrao and spectacular views. However, that failed to entice in a struggling market. The Real Deal reports that the price has been cut by 16.7 percent to $62.5 million. Please note that this figure, like all quoted below, reflects cumulative price cuts as opposed to the most recent reduction.
