For the third week of December 2019, there were 226 condo, condop, and co-op sales recorded in Manhattan totaling to $2.63 billion in residential sales.
For the week, the average price of a Manhattan condo came in at $4.12 million and a median of $1.95 million. The ten priciest sales of the week are all within new condo buildings finished in the last four years. Furthermore, eight condo-apartments, all within buildings on Billionaires' Row, sold for more than $10 million. The list is topped by a $92.7 million, 73rd-floor duplex penthouse sale at 220 Central Park South. The deal is the second-most-expensive of the year and third highest in NYC history.
Co-ops sold at an average of $1.17 million and at a median of $815,000. The most expensive co-op sale was Unit #7B at The Prasada on Central Park West. The four-bedroom spread sold for $7.5 million earlier this month. See the table below for a full list of closings on the island.
