Here comes the shine: 100 East 53rd Street, the site of Aby Rosen’s new Midtown East tower now boasts a newly completed slick and silvery façade. The 63-story tower has been dubbed One Hundred East Fifty Third Street, and stands as a beautiful new addition to the Manhattan skyline. The tower topped out at 711 feet and features exterior, and interior, design from Foster + Partners. It will have 94 apartments, including 17 condominiums on its top 11 stories. The building features faceted east and west sides, and a 9-story atrium base. It towers over another one of Rosen’s renowned buildings, the Seagram Building, and was specially designed with respectful regard to its bronze, 500-foot neighbor. Completion for One Hundred East Fifty Third Street has been slated for 2017.
