Carter's Review
This attractive, white-brick, 13-story apartment building was erected in 1960. It is a cooperative and has 103 units.
The building has a canopied entrance flanking by low, wrought-iron fences at a 90 degree angle with the building. The building has a doorman and a roof deck and is across from the large plaza of the black skyscraper at 919 Third Avenue. It has no garage, health club and no balconies and there is considerable traffic in this neighborhood. There is a school to the east on the same block and P. J. Clarke's, the famous saloon is one block south on Third Avenue.
This neighborhood is very convenient the Midtown office district and there are many restaurants and stores in the area. There is excellent cross-town bus service on 57th Street and a subway station is three blocks north at Bloomingdale's.
