Carter's Review
This pleasant, 16-story, brown brick apartment building was erected in 1924 and converted to a cooperative in 1986. It has a two-story limestone base and its avenue frontage is distinguished by its peaked cornice and arched windows on its top floor.
The building, which has 64 apartments, has an entrance on the quiet side street in this prime Murray Hill location that is close to the Morgan Library.
The building has some decorative balconies on its next to top floor and a denticulated string course above its third floor. The building has a doorman and permits protruding air-conditioners, but no pets. Some of the apartments have fireplaces and washer-dryer units.
This neighborhood has excellent public transportation and good shopping.
