Carter’s Review

"The 21-story, red-brick residential condominium building at 45 Park Avenue on the southeast corner at 37th Street replaced the handsome, 9-story red-brick Sheraton Russell Hotel in 2006.

SJP Residential Properties of Parsipanny, N.J., of which Allen Goldman is the president, acquired the former 146-unit hotel that had been erected in 1923 from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide in late 2004 for about $40 million, or $275,000 a room.  SJP also was the developer of the handsome condominium tower known as Platinum at 247 West 46th Street."
