Review of 130 East 63rd Street by Carter Horsley

This attractive, 15-story, white-brick, apartment building was erected in 1965 and converted to a condop in 1991. It has 74 apartments.

It has a polished blue-gray granite 1-story base, sidewalk landscaping with oriental statues, a canopy with a stainless-steel marquee, terraces, a doorman and a very handsome lobby with onyx panels.

It has discrete air-conditioners, but no garage, no balconies, no roof deck and no health club. Lexington Avenue has a very wide mix of retail in this area, which is close to Bloomingdale's and traffic heading for the Queensborough Bridge.

It has a good Upper East Side location that is close to many clubs and religious institutions, fashionable boutiques and restaurants and it is within walking distance of the Plaza office district.

The sidestreets in this area are very attractive.
