Carter’s Review

"This rather striking, 12-story building at 635 Fourth Avenue in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn in 2017 and has 91 rental apartments.  It is known as The Alexey.

It was erected by Bushburg Properties and designed by Nataliya Donskoy."

Broker & Resident Comments

Cheaply built (doorframes coming off, tub stopper doesn?t work, walls are buckling, leaks, constant HVAC problems since day 1) and a big rodent problem with a less than eager to be helpful management company. I?ve accepted that until my lease runs out, I?ll be amongst mice and their feces (saw a mouse just 10 minutes before I decided to write this post). There was a fire almost a year ago on the roof (an ?amenity?) and the management company doesn?t seem to think that fixing it up is a priority to it?s tenants. To this day it remains charred up there. The only saving grace is the doorman Kenny, and the supers Orlando and Roberto. Their lives are made harder by the Alexey?s/Bushburg?s lazy approach to ensuring our rent money (which is a lot) is paying off for its tenant?s in the end. They are failing and I have never been so excited to not resign, pack up my things and move far away from this building and it?s management.
