Carter's Review
This very elegant, red-brick, Georgian-style apartment house at 100 Riverside Drive on the northeast corner at 82nd Street was erected in 1938. It was converted to a cooperative in 1990. The 19-story building has 93 apartments.
It was built by Simon Brothers who subsequently sold it to Paul Kallaman, who sold it in 1963 to Klausner Associates Inc.
It was designed by Boak & Paris and is also known as327-333 West 82nd Street.
Bottom Line
A very handsome, modern “pre-war” building with sunken living rooms and it is close to Zabar’s.
Description
The building is distinguished by its fine massing and masonry. It has a one-story limestone base with a canopied entrance on the side-street beneath an octagonal limestone surround on he second story. It has a very attractive lobby.
The building has many corner windows and a doorman and it permits protruding air-conditioners. Its top has several terraces surmounted by a handsome enclosed rooftop watertank.
Most of the apartments have stunning vistas of the Hudson River and Riverside Park.

The building has a doorman, a gym, a laundry, basement storage, a bicycle room and is pet-friendly and is close to Zabar’s.
