Carter's Review
This handsome, 9-story condominium apartment building is located in the heart of the Far West Village, half a block from the fine waterfront esplanade of the Hudson River Park and a few blocks south of the lively restaurant district in the "Meatpacking" district and the many art galleries of Chelsea.
The building, which is between Washington and West Streets, has a two-story, yellow-stone entrance surround with a canopy and a concierge and a white stucco face with discrete air-conditioners in large, deeply inset windows. There is no garage and no sidewalk landscaping.
The apartments have open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and maple cabinets and limestone countries and washers.
Although public transportation is not very convenient, this is one of the city's most delightful areas for walking.
There is another "Left Bank" in the West Village that is located at 99 Bank Street, but it is a red-brick building that is a cooperative with 126 units.
