Carter's Review

This attractive, 12-story, mid-block building at 222 East 80th Street between Third and Second Avenues is known as the Kimberly and was erected in 1963.  It has 95 co-operative apartments. 

The building, which is on a tree-lined street, is convenient to numerous restaurants and good bus transportation.

Bottom Line

A pleasant, mid-block, mid-rise co-operative apartment building on the Upper East Side east of Third Avenue with large living rooms and many balconies.

Description

The white brick building has sidewalk landscaping, many balconies, and a canopied entrance.

Amenities

The building has a full-time doorman, a live-in superintendent, a roof deck, a bicycle room, storage and a garage.  It allows cats and dogs.

Apartments

Apartment 9C is a two-bedroom unit with a 31-foot-long living/dining room with a 10-foot-wide balcony and an enclosed, 8-foot-long kitchen. 

Apartment 11F is a one-bedroom unit with a 27-foot-long living/dining room with a 26-foot-wide balcony. 

Apartment 1G is  one-bedroom unit with a step-up 24-foot-long living room and a step-up, 30-foot-wide garden and a 9-foot-long dining room next to an enclosed kitchen.
