Carter’s Review

"This large, 14-story, pale orange-brick apartment building was erected in 1965 and was converted to a cooperative in 1980. It has 191 units.

It is near St. Catherine's Park on the west side of First Avenue between 67th and 68th Street and half a block away from the very handsome St. John of Nepomucene Roman Catholic Church on First Avenue."

Broker & Buyer Comments

This "well-secured" residential tower offers "sought-after amenities" including a "pool with swim programs" and fitness center, though some find the "management process Byzantine" with "lengthy board reviews." The "methodical approval process" and upcoming "neighborhood construction" may give pause, but the "solid amenity package" provides value. Note: "pool availability varies" due to community programs.
