Carter’s Review

"There are 61 apartments in four nearly identical five-story buildings on this dead-end street overlooking the East River. The addresses are 527, 531, 535 and 541 East 72nd Street.

The buildings have red entrance doors and fire escapes and are at the opposite end of the block from Sotheby's, the auction house, on the York Avenue south comer. The area has been radically transformed since Sotheby's relocated here from Madison Avenue and 76th Street and it now has several luxury apartment towers."
