According to CityRealty data, the average price of a New York City co-op is $1,101 per square foot. As high as this is, it's a bargain compared to an average of $1,615 per square foot for condominiums. This week's new listings, however, contain bargains by any standards: co-ops under $500K in popular neighborhoods and up-and-coming enclaves alike.
